I am
and I am a marketer, innovator and passionate family person from Denmark, with Tamil roots, currently based in Dubai. I’m documenting my journey as a remote marketing consultant and partner at bolb.
This year, I’m dedicated to building a portfolio of marketing solutions at bolb.

Bio
I am a marketer and innovator
I spent nine years of my professional life helping clients defining their marketing strategy and optimize their marketing operations with a full-scope marketing and communication plan.
I have both worked on the agency side as well as an in-house marketing manager with hands-on experience leading a team and scaling businesses into new markets.
Having a strong work ethic is part of my upbringing. My parents are Tamil refugees that fled Sri Lanka and built their life in Denmark with nothing. With my previous work, I had the privilege to live and work remote in different countries in the world. All of this has developed me into who I am today. I do my best to stay curious, open-minded and see myself as a life long learner. Hence, this is why I’m doing all of this. I want to keep growing, giving and leaving this planet as Sofi, who created, thrived and lived to the fullest.

I worked with one of Sweden’s largest PR agencies supporting them with their clients’ localization, content and PR related tasks for the Danish and German markets.
Marketing Management & Ecommerce
I worked with Saudi Arabia’s leading group in the HORECA coffee segment. I helped with new brand identity, marketing operations and ecommerce related tasks.
Expansion and growth
I helped Sesamy with their expansion to Denmark, setting up with distributor and the largest publishers. Furthermore, I led a team with daily marketing and ecommerce operations such as social media management, customer support, web content management.
